Bailarina de Ballet / Ballet Dancer

El otro día mientras esperaba en el aeropuerto escuché a una niñita decirle a su mamá con mucha determinación que quería ser bailarina de ballet. Lo encontré notable! Traté de recordar con que soñaba yo y me acordé que quería ser arqueóloga o baterista. No cumplí ninguno de los dos pero todavía sueño con aprender a tocar batería.
The other day while waiting at the airport i heard a little girl telling her mother that she wanted to be a ballet dancer. I found remarkable how determined she was. I tried to remember my dreams as a child and i remembered that i wanted to be an archaeologist or a drummer. I failed to meet these dreams but i still want to learn how to play the drums.

Lisboa / Lisbon

Hace un tiempo vi unas hermosas fotos de Portugal. La ciudad era Lisboa y me sorprendí con las calles de adoquines, los coloridos mosaicos y los hermosos edificios y castillos estilo medieval. Esas estrechas calles llenas de mini tiendas, en donde había una muy especial llamada Vitoria y de la cual me trajeron unas estampillas maravillosas para mi colección, fue donde me inspiré para hacer esta ilustración. Los que tengan la oportunidad vayan! esta lleno de bares entretenidos y hostels con gente de todo el mundo. Definitivamente Lisboa será parte de mi viaje por Europa.
Some time ago i saw some beautiful photos of Portugal. The city was Lisbon and i was surprised with the cobblestone streets, colorful mosaics and beautiful medieval buildings and castles. These narrow streets full of mini shops, where there was a very special one called Vitoria that sells beautifull stamps, was where i was inspired to make this illustration. Those who have the opportunity to go there do it! there are many fun bars and hostels with people around the world. Lisbon will be definitely part of my trip to Europe.

Las ilustraciones y las tipografías se hicieron de manera que se viera una mano más infantil y menos experta, con el objetivo de transmitir como si cada chileno, con su puño y letra, hubiese escrito y dibujado su sueño.
