Tenía 12 años cuando la Princesa Diana murió en ese horrible accidente en París. Recuerdo que esa noche me desperté como a las 4 am y de aburrida prendí la radio para ver si encontraba algo que me permitiera volver al sueño. Mientras giraba la perilla me di cuenta que todas las estaciones estaban hablando sobre un horrible accidente. Paré en una para escuchar con atención y no pude creerlo. Me quedé sentada, lloré y después fui a despertar a mis papás para contarles la noticia.
Me costó mucho dibujar a Lady Di, sobre todo esa expresión entre polite y triste, como tratando de esconder su sufrimiento para poder cumplir con su deber real.
Una de las pérdidas más tristes y lloradas de la historia.Long Live Lady Di!

I was 12 years old when Princess Diana died in that horrible accident in Paris.I remember i woke up that night at 4 am and i turned the radio to see if there was something that allowed me to return to sleep. While listening the different stations i realize that all were talking about an horrible accident. I started to listen carefully and i could not believe it. I sat in my bed and cry. Then i went to my parents bedroom to tell them the bad news.
It was hard to draw Lady Di especially the expression in her face so polite and sad, as if she was trying to hide her suffering to fulfill her royal duty.
One of the saddest and most mourned losses in history.Long Live Lady Di!
